Early this morning at 4:46 a.m. Pearl was born, 8 pounds and 4 ounces. She appears to be a little Leilani this time with curly hair! We're so thankful to our Heavenly Father for sending our new bundle of joy to our family.

Mother and baby are both well and are having a few days out of the spot light to recover. Both Leilani and I are very happy and want to thank all those well wishers for their love and support.

Kia orana and congratulations on the birth of your beautiful daughter and sister Pearl. We obviously have the same favourite time of year to conceive. Andrew's birthday is 20 December (5 days before Christmas) and Daniel's is 30 December (5 days after Christmas). A wonderful time of the year! We hope you are all well (mother and daughter certainly look it from the photos) and we look forward to catching up with you in January. Aunty Mata and her two girls are visiting at the moment and Uncle Johnny is staying with us also for a few days.
